yes. tennis, pickleball and badminton put the same multidirectional load through a shoe, and the outsole is cut for all of it. padel is what it was built around, the plant and the toe drag that sport asks for. clay is the exception, that surface needs a different pattern.
bonded tpu wraps the toe and the outer forefoot, the two places padel wears through first. it is a bonded overlay rather than a stitched panel, so there is no seam to open under the scrape.
